Our latest No.7 pizza has been created by our very own Head Pizzaiolo Alfonso Marseglia. It’s got spicy lamb sausage from the Yorkshire Dales, tomatoes from Gragnano, roasted aubergine, mozzarella & our wild garlic pesto, which was handpicked and homemade.
Our pizzaioli and central team took a trip to Dorset to forage for this fresh and fragrant ingredient, ready to be made into wild garlic pesto for our spring No.7 pizza.
CHEF COMPETITION PIZZA – SPRING 2019
Six of our best pizzaiolo went head-to-head last week to create the latest Franco Manca special. You can taste the winning pizza, created by Antonio, head pizzaiolo at Belsize Park, at your local Franco Manca from 14th - 20th May. His pizza has a mixed pepper base, Somerset mozzarella and Yorkshire fennel sausage, all balanced with red onion and fresh basil. The pizza designed by our second winner, Gaetano’s, will be on specials boards between 21st and 27th May
Franco Manca now have a vegan special pizza available in all pizzerias, which will change on a monthly basis. The pizza on the menu in May has roasted potatoes with onions, wild broccoli, kalamata black olives and organic tomato.
