Black History Month
This month is spent highlighting the huge, under-represented contribution of black people to our culture, both in history and today.
The Victoria & Albert Museum holds various items relating to black heritage. For example, it has worked in partnership with Black Cultural Archives to add work to its collection by black photographers, and work that documents the lives of black people in Britain between the 1950s-90s.
